You don’t need to be a certified diver to discover the beauty of the Sea of Cortez. SNUBA offers the ease of snorkeling and the ability to breathe under water without the usual cumbersome SCUBA equipment. Our private platform is located in a sheltered area just minutes from the pier. After about 15-minute training session, you will follow your guide to encounter amazing tropical marine life. When finished, you will be able to enjoy some refreshments and if time allows, use the regular snorkeling equipment provided or relax on the beach. Dive next to walls and slopes covered with sea fans. There are tropical fish everywhere, schools of Mexican goatfish, eels, angelfish, parrot fish, lobsters, spotted box fish and puffers. You might also meet our local white-tip reef shark. You will see frog fish and sometimes schools of jacks and rays passing by. In this dive you'll pass above the famous sand falls.
In this dive you'll swim next to huge boulders covered with sea fans, sponges and gorgonians, tropical fish, eels, guitarfish, sometimes rays as well as turtles passing by. Bottom at the beginning of the dive: 25ft.
You'll dive next to the most southern rock of Baja. You'll dive with our playful sea lions, just next to their colony. When the sea is calm, you'll enter a canyon where they like to play and hang out. You'll see lots of fish, eels, angelfish, parrot fish, garden eels, spotted box fish puffers, giant hawk fish and barber fish, and sometimes schools of jacks, tunas, barracudas, herrings, and turtles passing by. Bottom at the beginning of the dive: 25ft.
The North Wall is a great dive for beginners and resort course introductory divers as well as for more experienced divers. This rock-covered slope makes a great home for eels, puffers, lobsters and tropical fish. Sometimes you will see stingrays. You might also meet our local white tip reef shark.
Cabeza de Ballena, Blow Hole, Chileno Bay, Santa María Bay, Las Viudas and the Gavilan. Dives at these sites can go from deep to very shallow. You'll see unique and amazing rock formations, gigantic boulders, underwater canyons, colorful schools of tropical fish, and occasional turtles and rays.
